Biography
A lifelong public servant dedicated to the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Governor Jean-Paul Mbwebwa Kapo has built a career focused on grassroots development and economic empowerment. With a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities within Kasaï-Oriental, he has championed policies aimed at improving infrastructure, fostering education, and creating a stable environment for investment. His leadership is driven by a core belief that the true wealth of our province is its people and its land, and that by nurturing both, we can achieve unprecedented growth and stability.
Objective & Mission
The primary objective of the Kasai-Vert Project is to spearhead a green revolution in our province. Our mission is multifaceted: first, to transform our agricultural sector into a modern, productive, and sustainable engine of economic growth. We will empower our farmers with advanced technologies, access to markets, and financial tools. Second, we aim to create thousands of meaningful jobs, particularly for our youth, by developing value chains in agro-industry and renewable energy. Third, we are committed to protecting our precious environment through reforestation, sustainable land management, and the promotion of clean energy. This project is about building a self-reliant economy that works in harmony with nature.
